The Central Juvenile and Family Court yesterday sentenced 92 young street racers to one-year suspended jail terms, revoked their driver's licences and imposed two days of social service.
Twelve others under 15 were not punished but warned their parents must put them on watch for one year, during which time if they offend again they will be fined Bt5,000. The racers were rounded up on Bangkok's Rama VI on February 3. More than 100 motorbikes and 16 pickup vehicles seized.
